Users - Managing User Permissions

This guide explains how to customize access for team members within your account. By adjusting permissions, you can ensure users have exactly the tools they need to perform their roles while maintaining data security.

Only an Account Owner can modify a user's permissions.

Accessing Permission Settings

To modify a user's access:

  1. Navigate to Account Settings and select the Users section.
  2. Click the Edit button next to the specific user.
  3. In the "Contact Information" block, click the Edit Permissions button.

Permission Categories

Permissions are organized into logical sections. Many features follow a Parent-Child relationship: for example, a user must have "View" access enabled before they can be granted "Edit" access.

User access can also be restricted to specific forms. This allows you to grant a user access to work only on the fundraising campaigns they are connected to. When restricted, they can view only those specific forms, email receipts, and reports. This is ideal for third-party fundraisers who are working on your behalf and only require access to their own data.

Forms and Email Receipts

This section manages the creation, modification, and visibility of your forms and the automated email receipts.

  • View Forms and Email Receipts
    • Enabled: Users can access the "Fundraising Forms" list.
    • Restrict Access: You can use the "Restrict Access to Specific Forms" field to limit the user to only certain forms.
    • Disabled: Users cannot see the form list or the email receipt list page.
