Bloomerang Integration

Objective

• Facilitate the automatic creation of Constituents and Transactions in Bloomerang when you receive a GiveDirect donation.

Getting started

• We will create a custom URL (HTTP Request) that is used by GiveDirect to make a connection to the Bloomerang account.
• A set of login credentials to the Bloomerang account is securely stored by GiveDirect and used for the connection. The charity will provide the login credentials to GiveDirect.
• We will test the connection to ensure that it’s working properly.
• Field Mapping: We will have a Zoom call with you with screen sharing to go through the process of mapping your Bloomerang fields to the GiveDirect fields.

Live Actions

When a donation occurs, GiveDirect can complete any of the following actions in the Bloomerang account. The list below is a partial list of the most common actions.

• Update Constituent – Finds a customer by email address.
• Create Constituent – Adds a new customer.
• Create Transaction – Creates a new transaction for a donation, event registration, etc.

Conditional Formatting

If you need a date formatted a certain way, a field concatenated, or data assigned using an if/then condition, we can do that.

Future Updates

Your database and business processes will change over time. Updates to your integration file are included with your monthly fee.
