Header Image
Choose an image to display on your fundraising page
If no image is displayed, click the image button at the top of the page, then click upload to choose an image from your computer. Click save to add your logo/graphic.
Only one graphic may be applied to this graphic place holder. If multiple graphics are desired, you may combine the images into a single file using a graphics program or you may use the Header Text area to add additional graphics.

Changing the file size
To upload a photo as a Header Image, the file size must be less than 500KB. However, the larger the file size, the slower the page will load. Ideally, your final photo size should be less than 250KB.
If you need to resize an image because it is too large you can do it using tools built into your computer. In Windows you can resize an image by using the Photo App or by using Paint. Below are the instructions for both of these applications.
Windows Photo App (Recommended method)
- Double-click the image file to open it in the Photos App.
- Click the "See more" icon (three horizontal dots) in the top-right corner.
- Select Resize from the dropdown menu.
- Enter a smaller width and height in pixels or adjust the percent ratio. The "Maintain aspect ratio" box should remain checked to prevent the image from looking stretched.
- Alternatively, you can move the "Quality" slider down (e.g., to 60-80%). Lower quality means more compression and a smaller file size.
- Click "Save a resized copy". This preserves your original file and saves the new, smaller version to a location you choose.
Microsoft Paint
- Right-click the image file, select Open with, and choose Paint.
- In the Home tab of the toolbar, click the Resize button. Set new dimensions:
- You can resize by changing either the percentage ratio or the pixels number. You only need to change one of the numbers, either vertical or horizontal (the other will adjust automatically).
- Make sure the "Maintain aspect ratio" box is checked.
- Click OK to apply the resize.
- Go to File > Save as and choose JPEG picture or PNG picture. Saving a JPEG will generally result in the smallest file size for photographs, but you will need to save it as a new file to avoid overwriting your original.
